Dr. Sandro Popelka earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Benjamin Franklin Clinic at the Free University of Berlin in Germany. He completed his advanced education in general dentistry at Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester and earned his Master’s in Public Health (Clinical Investigation Track) at the University of Rochester Department of Community and Preventive Medicine in May 2005. He is currently working toward his Ph.D in Dental Medicine with the Free University of Berlin Institute for Laser and Medicine Technology.
In addition to participating in many seminars and continuing education courses, Dr. Popelka stays abreast of the latest advances in dentistry with memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, Seventh District Dental Society, New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Apollonian Dental Study Club in Rochester, New York. Dr. Popelka is also a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Dr. Popelka and his wife, Anna, have three children, Giannina, Adriano, and Marcello.
